Last year, AFT introduced a program to reduce its Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions and move away from high solvent-containing coatings and coatings with hazardous substances of high concern. By working closely with our key suppliers, AFT have gradually removed these coatings from its product portfolio and moved over to safer, more environmentally friendly, water-based coatings and paints. The use of these water-based coatings have greatly reduced our emissions, minimising the environmental impact and created a healthier workplace.
AFT continue to strengthen its efforts across all areas of our footprint, including waste, energy and emissions. This is in keeping with our commitment to enduring sustainability.
